What a father does

What A Father Does

Luke 15:11-32
11And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
14And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
15And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
17And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
25Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
26And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
27And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
28And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
29And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
30But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
31And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
32It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

God's Free Gift of Salvation All have sinned
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
I John 1:8 “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us."

There is a penalty for sin
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
John 3:18 “He that believeth in Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Revelation 20:14-15 “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

You cannot save yourself
Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us.”
James 2:10 “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

Salvation has been provided
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The conditions are simple:
Repent - Luke 13:3 “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
Confess- Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation" Believe - Acts 16:31 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

NOW is the time for decision
II Corinthians 6:2 “ . . . behold now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

The next move is yours. God is waiting for you to believe. Pray to Him, repenting of your sins and asking Him to forgive. Accept the gift He so freely offers. Do it today

Gods Call

I preached this on a Wed night service at New Life Baptist Church. Before I knew it an hour or so had passed

GOD’S Call
JONAH
Gods Sense of Humor
A. Me Reading
B. Me Preaching
C. A Story only the Faithful could believe.
(Jon 1:1) Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,

(Jon 1:2) Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

I. Gods Call For His Prophet
a. NO JOKE – Not to be taken lightly
b. It’s Absolute – It has to be his way, He doesn’t change his mind.
c. It’s Permanent – Until it is fulfilled,
GOD DOESN’T CHANGE HIS MIND
God has a call for everyone
Jon 1:3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
II. Gods Prophet’s Response
a. The Wrong answer – It should be YES SIR
b. Your personal Hangups Mean nothing
- The Jews Hated The Ninavites
- The Ninavites Hated the Jews
- It’s like putting Greg Davis in the middle of Bagdad
Jon 1:4 But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.
Jon 1:5 Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep.
Jon 1:6 So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.
Jon 1:7 And they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah.
Jon 1:8 Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?
III. Gods Response to his Prophet.
a. Stumbling blocks in the way of Jonah’s Way
b. Others around him will suffer
i. Their lives disturbed
ii. Their Mission Halted
iii. Their lives could have ended – Would God have sunk the ship if Jonah didn’t “Fess Up”
Jon 1:9 And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.
Jon 1:10 Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.
Jon 1:11 Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
Jon 1:12 And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.
Jon 1:13 Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring it to the land; but they could not: for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous against them.
Jon 1:14 Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.

IV. Jonah Get’s the Clue
a. He realizes he caused this
b. Others found out his sin
Jon 1:15 So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.
Jon 1:16 Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and made vows.
Jon 1:17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

V. Gods Punishment
a. God Used man to carry out his plan
b. God Prepared a Mode of punishment
c. Swift Punishment was Executed
i. I find it interesting that he isolated Jonah from everything
1. Light
2. fresh air
3. Companionship –except for God
Jon 2:1 Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,
Jon 2:2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
Jon 2:3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
Jon 2:4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
Jon 2:5 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
Jon 2:6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
Jon 2:7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
Jon 2:8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
Jon 2:9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
Jon 2:10 And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
VI. Jonah’s repentance
a. Through Prayer
b. Through Commitment
c. By the Heart – Just saying Sorry Lord, isn’t enough
TRUE REPENTANCE
Repentance is a change of mind, or a conversion from sin to God.
Jon 3:1 And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying,
Jon 3:2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.
Jon 3:3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
Jon 3:4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
VII. God’s Forgiveness and Call again
a. He doesn’t change his mind
Jon 3:5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
Jon 3:6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
Jon 3:7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
Jon 3:8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
Jon 3:9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
Jon 3:10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

VII. The Blessings of God
a. Many were saved
b. The King was saved
c. God Spared them From Destruction

Jon 4:1 But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
Jon 4:2 And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
Jon 4:3 Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.
VIII. Jonah’s Flesh takes over
a. He was a Bigot
i. Are your?
ii. What’s your response to the poor
iii. What’s your response to the mentally ill
iv. What’s Your Response to the unkempt bus kid.
1. Is that why we can’t get enough workers for the bus ministry
Jon 4:4 Then said the LORD, Doest thou well to be angry?
Jon 4:5 So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.
Jon 4:6 And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.
Jon 4:7 But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered.
Jon 4:8 And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.
Jon 4:9 And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.
Jon 4:10 Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:
Jon 4:11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?
IX. Jonah’s Pity Party
a. God used him to do a great thing
b. God worked and spoke through him

Jon 4:11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?
X. The Final Question From God
a. It’s Convicting
b. It’s Absolute

JW Primer & Tract

Isaiah 42:6 I the LORD have called thee [Jesus] in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 42:7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

[The purpose of this document is three-fold. To serve as (1) a quick reference for soulwinners who have Jehovah's Witnesses coming to their door (2) a short primer for those unfamiliar with the beliefs of JWs (see our Cults page for more tenets) (3) a tract to give JWs to look at on their own--but don't be surprised if they refuse to take it... I wrote this treatise after the Lord rebuked me for not answering the door when some JWs came by this month (Sept 2000). I've printed this out and put it near the front door so that when they come I'm ready--I'll have my Bible in hand too. It is written from the soulwinner to the JW.]
Friend, the devil is a great deceiver who desires the worship that belongs to God alone. He delights in drawing people into false doctrine. The people think they are serving God but they are serving the devil. As you knock on these doors you are serving the devil by peddling false doctrine. As I recall the Watchtower does not permit you to read non-Watchtower materials but I will still offer to let you have this piece of paper in my hand. If you want to know the truth, you can always come back and knock on this door outside of Watchtower time.

I believe in the God of the Bible. To be specific, the God of the King James 1611 Bible. I believe in the Jesus of the King James 1611 Bible. My doctrine and belief is based on the King James 1611 Bible, not the NWT, NIV, NASB or other of the host of fake/counterfeit Bibles. The King James Bible shows your JW beliefs to be contrary to the word of God and blasphemous. You are preaching a false gospel.

Are your sins forgiven? Do you know without a doubt you will live with God forever? Then why are you following the Watchtower when they give you no assurance of salvation? They keep driving you on like slaves to do their bidding. They try to regulate every aspect of your life even down to what you can and cannot read. Jesus Christ said in John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. The Watchtower wants to destroy you. Jesus wants to save you. You don't have to walk around not knowing if you will live with Jesus forever. John said, I John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And in I John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Oh, hallelujah, know Him for yourself in His fullness and stop running around as slaves to the devil. Jesus died for your sins and then He rose from the dead. Repent of your sins, believe on the blood, walk with Jesus. Get a real Bible and understand what it means to walk with the Lord, not the Watchtower. The Bible teaches, Christ IN YOU, the hope of glory. Jesus living inside your soul NOT in the Watchtower organization barking out commands.

Do you believe that the Watchtower is God's visible organization on this earth? But the Watchtower is observable to human eyeballs and Jesus says the kingdom of God don't come from a visible source. Luke 17:20-21, And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Do you believe Jesus is God or do you believe He is a created being? My King James 1611 says that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. And my King James 1611 says, John 1:1, 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. In another place, Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. In a place of prophesy, Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Do you believe in the Godhead, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost constitute one God in three Persons? My King James 1611 says, I John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Colossians 2:9 For in him [Jesus] dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Your organization teaches that the Holy Ghost is not a person of the Godhead, but the Bible says He speaks and directs and teaches. For example, The Holy Ghost SAID in Acts 13:2, ..."Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them."

Do you believe that man must work to be part of God's new system of things? The Bible says that your measly righteousnesses are as filthy rags--because the things you do are are contradictory to his word. Some people asked Jesus what they had to do to work the works of God. John 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Friend, you do not believe on Him that God hath sent. You believe in a Satanic fabrication. Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He is NOT the archangel Michael and He is not a created being. He did the creating. You do not have the Son and therefore you do not have life but the wrath of God is abiding on top of your head because you have rejected the truth. You've decided to believe the lies of Charles Taze Russell. JWs were once called Russellites and though your name has changed you are still Russellites. You are a disciple of Charles Taze Russell. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Do you believe that the wicked are annihilated? The Bible says just the opposite.

1.Because Jesus Christ rose from the dead, EVERY PERSON will rise from the dead.

Adam's sin put you in the grave, Christ's sinlessness took you out of it.

1 Corinthians 15:21-22, For since by man came death, by man came also

resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam ALL die, even so in Christ shall ALL

be made alive.

2.Every person will rise again and go to one of two places. Eternity only has two addresses--life (heaven) and damnation (lake of fire). Wherever you end up, you will live forever. This fact is found in both the Old and New Testaments.

John 5:28-29, Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which ALL

that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have

done good, unto the RESURRECTION OF LIFE; and they that have done

evil, unto the RESURRECTION OF DAMNATION.

Daniel 12:2, And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,

some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Matthew 25:46, And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the

righteous into life eternal.

3.At the final judgment, ALL men will be judged.

Matthew 25:32, And before him shall be gathered ALL nations: and he shall

separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the

goats.

4.It doesn't matter where your remains are, God will put you back together. It ain't hard

for Him. The Judgment is the one appointment that you won't miss--even if you want to.

Revelation 20:12-15, And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God;

and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book

of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the

books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in

it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they

were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were

cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not

found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Do you believe in a literal hell? The King James Bible preaches just the opposite. Hell is real and so is the lake of fire.

Regardless of whether you believe it or not, hell exists and the Bible says that it is never full. I've heard folks say that hell is not mentioned in the Bible or that hell is just the grave. Well, let's take a look at what the Bible says. Here are a few scriptures that deal with hell and the lake of fire (at the final judgment, hell, death and those not written in the book of life will be cast into the lake fire):

Matthew 25:41 (Jesus speaking to people at final judgment), ...Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

Revelation 14:11, And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night...

Revelation 20:12, 15, And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life...And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Matthew 10:28, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Luke 12:5, But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which AFTER he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Matthew 18:8, 9 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

Matthew 25:46, And these shall go away into EVERLASTING punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

II Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with EVERLASTING destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.

Isaiah 66:24, And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be abhorring unto all flesh.

Mark 9:44 (speaking of hell), Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Jude 7, Sodom and Gomorrha...are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Matthew 22:13, ...Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:41-42, The Son of man (Jesus) shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Revelation 21:8, But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Psalm 9:17, The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Isaiah 14:99-11, 15 (referring to Lucifer), Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee...all they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee...thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Daniel 12:2, And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and EVERLASTING contempt.

The following is a true story as told by the Lord Jesus in Luke 16:19-31:

19. There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28. For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Sinner, you will either TURN from your sins to Jesus or you will BURN for your sins. If you reject the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be tormented in the flames forever without a single, solitary hope. The biggest fool in the world chooses hell. No need to argue with me about this. God said hell is real, your argument is with Him and you won't win that one. You have been warned. Repent or perish.

Fake People

I have come in contact with many "Fake People" as of late. The are people who know how to act or play the game but don't truley get it. They don't committ their hearts and minds fully.

If these people aren't getting the attention that they crave the have to step it up to satisfy their needs.

I have tried to talk to people like this and always gotten the same run around of them trying to be charming or dance around the subject, but if you look into their eyes and read their facial expressions you can tell they are fake.

So I have just started calling them out on the lies as they tell them to someone, mainly because people fake like this are a detriment to christianity and the work of God as they see the hipocosy in the fake people and cloud over the genuine real people since the real people aren't craving the attention like the fake people.

Why?

No matter what don't give up. Keep on fighting! God has never given up on you, why slap him in the face and give up on Him

The Missing Amen

THE MISSING AMEN

Act 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

รข What’s Missing - The Amen

The word "amen" is a most remarkable word. It was transliterated directly from the Hebrew into the Koine Greek of the New Testament, then into Latin and into English and many other languages, so that it is practically a universal word. It has been called the best-known word in human speech. The word is directly related--in fact, almost identical--to the Hebrew word for "believe" (amen), or "faithful." Thus, it came to mean "sure" or truly," an expression of absolute trust and confidence. When one believes God, he indicates his faith by an "amen." When God makes a promise, the believer's response is "amen"--"so it will be!" In the New Testament, it is often translated "verily" or "truly." When we pray according to His Word and His will, we know God will answer, so we close with an "amen," and so also do we conclude a great hymn or anthem of praise and faith.
